Vianey Leos Barajas is an Assistant Professor in Statistical Sciences and affiliated with the School of the Environment at the University of Toronto. Her work focuses topics related to Bayesian statistics, time series, Markov-switching and spatio-temporal models.
In her half day workship during the methods week, Vianey will introduce Hidden Markov Models and teach us how to implement them in Stan.
